This Week’s Top 3 Must-Reads

AI As The Engine, A Trader's Paradise and 10 Things From ETH Denver

A few of our favorite reads that people might have missed this past week.

“AI As The Engine, Humans As The Steering Wheel”

What Is It?

Vitalik, writes a longer form piece on AI.

Why We Liked It?

Many things Vitalik writes about in his blog come to fruition years later. He’s such an amazing thinker and him writing about AI is something you almost have to stop and read. It’s also evident that humans and AI are only going to become more symbiotic with one another over time and probably even faster than I expect. Which means, we need to think about a lot of this sooner rather than later.

Designs like this have a number of promising benefits. By far the most important one is that they allow for the construction of DAOs where human voters are in control of setting the direction, but they are not overwhelmed with an excessively large number of decisions to make.

One other thing! Vitalik talks about “Futarchy” in this piece. If you don’t know what that is we covered it fairly in depth with the anon founder of MetaDAO on our podcast:

“Trader’s Paradise, Investor’s Hell”

What Is It?

Jordi Alexander is the founder of Selini Capital, Alchemist at Mantle and a Lad on the Steady Lads Podcast. Whenever Jordi does a market commentary deep dive, I always make sure I pay attention.

Why We Liked It?

This market has been brutal for many and Jordi shares some tips for navigating this choppy price action.

Anyone can make money in bulltard months like November 2024 where the pie is growing so fast and most are biased long..

“10 Things I Can’t Quit Thinking About After ETHDenver”

What Is It?

Redphone an anon “Crypto & AI storyteller/philozophizoor who works at Delphi Labs”, wrote a great recap on ETH Denver.

Why We Liked It?

I couldn’t make it to ETH Denver this year myself and thought that this recap was awesome. The market has been in shambles lately, but this was yet another reminder of how many amazing things are being built right now. Also, Redphone’s posts have always hit different going back to DeFi summer days (his original “Theses” pieces were epic!).

"We overengineered our project and under-engineered our story."
